DESCRIPTION
The March Mini-Flow is an easy to use instrument for the measurement and testing of apertures in components by measuring the airflow through the component under test at a set pressure. Thanks to the latest technology all settings are electronically controlled, enabling precise test pressure setting and easy adjustment with high reliability and repeatability.
The many options available makes this instrument ideal for testing and measuring many types of components, the most obvious applications are for measuring air flow through gas flow controls and jets and less obvious, the checking of bores in components for restrictions or obstructions and for filter material testing, refer to the 'Applications' page for a few examples.
The March Mini-flow instrument is a complete test station with easy to read digital displays giving clear, unambiguous readings at all times, housed in a rugged all metal portable enclosure allows operation in most environments. Incorporating the latest technology precise measurements can be made quickly with high accuracy and excellent repeatability, not just between readings but also between other Mini-flow instruments.
The flowrate measured is dependent on the test pressure and the properties of the component under test. Because the test pressure can usually be set to the actual operating pressure of the component the resulting airflow measured is a true indication of the components' operating performance. Also problems such as turbulence etc. can be eliminated or investigated by adjusting the test pressure.
The Mini-flow series can easily be calibrated by any NAMAS accredited flow calibration laboratory, so allowing full traceability of results, no more having to evaluate results with arbitrary units of measurement. Ideal for BS EN ISO9000 Quality Control. The Mini-flow series comprises of three basic models: the MM2010, MM2020 and the MM2030, refer to the 'Models and Options' page for full details.
As can be seen from the above the March Mini-Flow is a truly versatile instrument at a reasonable price, designed and manufactured in the UK by a long established company in the field of measurement that believes in customer satisfaction.
